Ps Sam and Jodi are the youth pastors of West City Christian Centre and are both on staff full time. They met at church and their romance all started at a beach missions outreach! They have been married four years. Jodi is Ps Tak’s daughter, PA and involved in the marketing and promotional area. She loves baking and enjoys going to the gym.
Sam is a born and bred Westie (but has never owned a pair of black jeans or a Holden yet, he actually grew up in the South Island). He was a P.E teacher at Massey High School until he took on the role of Youth Pastor. Sam is sports mad and has played almost every sport including American Football and of course Golf which he plays most Mondays with Ps Tak. Sam also oversees the television ministry of West City Christian Centre, Running With Fire along with the sound and lighting department of the church. His main focus and passion however is looking after the youth – 13-25+ year olds. “My Heart is to see this generation equipped & released as a spiritual army, to take back the land and the people Satan has stolen.”

Ross is one of the youth pastors here at WCCC. He has been part of the pastoral team at West City Christian Centre for just over 2 years. His main focus is the 11 – 13 year olds (Impact) which in his words “are such a vital age as they pass on from childhood into young adulthood”. He loves kicking around with these kids and getting all crazy. He is really just a big kid. Part of his job is also making sure that the youth new Christians build a strong foundation. He runs a 7 week course that helps them build that foundation.
In his spare time Ross likes to be with his beautiful wife Sarah and his gorgeous daughter ( 15months old ). He also plays music, catches a wave when he can, and get’s up to crazy stuff. His passion is to know God more and from that relationship see many exploits. In his own words quote “ I love to see young people changing into all God has for them and to eventually see them making a difference in someone elses life, what an honour it is to help make that happen."
